INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

A world of opportunity in Cambridge.

We are a World School — St. Peter’s is an international community that welcomes students and staff from all nations, faiths, and cultures from Year 7 to 13.

We deliver a world-renowned educational pathway in the form of the International Baccalaureate, alongside the New Zealand National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA), to ensure that our students have choices and are well-prepared to apply for universities in New Zealand and overseas.

Our international students enjoy a comfortable home-away-from-home within park-like school grounds, living, learning, and socialising alongside others within their peer groups. International students are supported by a strong network of pastoral care staff who understand the needs of adolescents, particularly those adjusting to an unfamiliar environment.

We are one of the very few schools who offer opportunities for international students to stay on campus throughout the school year. During the school holidays, our international students have the freedom to relax and unwind in a familiar setting or take advantage of an exciting program of trips and activities.

Leave weekends and Homestays

We also arrange homestay opportunities with New Zealand families during the school holidays for our international students who wish to be immersed in the New Zealand way of life and take in more of what the beautiful town of Cambridge and the Waikato region has to offer.
